Performance "Flint" at the Theater on Serpukhovka based on the wonderful fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story about a brave soldier and a magic flint was staged by director Tereza Durova, who has produced many brilliant children's performances. The production is made in a modern key: while preserving the classic plot, the creators of the show took advantage of impressive special effects and spectacular scenery, staged stunt tricks and invited the ensemble “Robinson Crusoe Orchestra” to write and perform musical numbers.

Performance "Flint" evokes a whole storm of emotions in young spectators and makes them look intently at the stage throughout the entire performance. There is very little dialogue in the play. The heroes prefer to perform songs and arias, and sometimes express themselves with the help of skillfully staged

Dancing. Much of the credit for the success of the production goes to the Robinson Crusoe Orchestra, whose members wrote wonderful music to the poems of Andrei Usachev. Musical compositions created at the intersection of jazz, ambient and trip-hop sound from the stage, successfully intertwining with the action and delighting the audience.

The creators of the play recommend purchasing tickets to "Ognivo" for children from six years old. But we can say with confidence that this enchanting performance will not be boring for adult spectators, who will be able to remember the wonderful fairy tale and appreciate the stunt numbers and virtuoso playing of the musicians.

Don't put off purchasing until later tickets for performance "Flint" at the Theater on Serpukhovka.

We attended the performance on December 24th, with children aged 8 and 3.5 years.
The performance is beautiful. The music is wonderful. The orchestra, the scenery, the costumes, the actors... well, everything is wonderful. Each game, in principle, can be an independent hit.
However, this turned out to be the first performance of the theater, in my opinion, which still left an ambivalent impression. True, I’m an adult, not a child, so my opinion is not exactly the view of the “target audience,” but still...
First of all, the show is quite dark. If the “flying ship” gave the impression of a kind of painted gingerbread emitting light (for me, at least), then “Flint” is more likely a gloomy closet with a multi-colored stained glass window, looking into which you can see a fairy tale...
Secondly, there is a surprising amount of fighting. They fight with feeling, lively, beautifully, but often, for a long time and “seriously”. Those. they didn’t just mark it: they hit him on the head, pushed him and hurray, but almost with tricks (and who put it on, I wonder?...). For an amazingly long time (almost five minutes) the soldier fights with the dogs, almost immediately he has a long and hard fight with the old witch (generally surreal - a soldier with an old woman), in the second part there is a general fight.
Thirdly, texts. They are very foldable, but in some places they are not quite childish, in that “classical” sense of the word... “in the face”, “stun me” (if I heard right), something else in the same vein... No, this is Of course, the witch was singing, but still... I somehow didn’t get into it.
Fourthly, I don’t know about the other kids (and there were quite a few of them in the room), but my youngest was a little bored. Although she sat through to the end and said that she liked it, of course. So it’s very correct, for my taste, that the website states that it is for children over 6 years old.

Now what I definitely liked. Artists - everyone :)
The dogs were absolutely amazing (N. Zverev, R. Najaf-Zadeh, G. Krakovsky), each with its own character, its own “trick” and in general - lovely :)
The soldier (E. Mishechkin) is a smart guy, like a real soldier from fairy tales.
The Witch (Yu. Tarnikova) is amazing:) Wow voice, she fought well too, and what a lot of enthusiasm!
Princess (Margarita Belkina). My girls really liked it))))
We got A. Ermokhin as King, to my joy. He is still beautiful :) Although in this particular fairy tale, probably, B. Ryvkin... no, not better, but more “in place”. Well, it seems so to me... Well, at least look again, go with a different King :)
Special thanks to the Minister (S. Dick) - he turned out to be a wonderful character! “And still - IT’S IMPOSSIBLE!” (With) :))))
I repeat - I really liked the musical part. Separately, we must mention a real orchestra with a wonderful conductor - Svetlana Filippovich.
I'm also delighted with the decorations and all these decisions. For example, the dungeon where the soldier went down - this is brilliant! And the chandelier? Truly a masterpiece! And the princess bed is such a delight!
