Chicken soup. Weight loss soup PP soups with chicken

31.08.2024

Soups with proper nutrition are a must for regular, or better yet, daily consumption. According to nutritionists, first courses satiate the body for a long time and are considered low-calorie.

To maintain your figure, you can even eat borscht cooked with a pork bone, however, this is not so useful for proper nutrition.

Which soups are best to use for weight loss, which are low-calorie, will be discussed further.

About dietary soups

First, you should consider the beneficial properties of soups, what is their proper use while maintaining proper nutrition and losing weight.

How to determine the correct serving size

The serving size of soup is determined individually and depending on the daily diet. The optimal serving size is 2 standard ladles.

In addition to the broth, vegetables and pieces of meat must be present in the specified amount. The soup is recommended to be consumed daily at lunchtime. Often, on a healthy diet, the first course is also eaten for dinner, which is not considered taboo.

Pros and cons of this dish

The following factors are distinguished:

  • warm liquid dishes warm the walls of the stomach and catalyze the production of gastric juice;
  • hot liquid dishes are easily digested by the stomach and other organs of the digestive system - this contributes to the proper distribution of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, resulting in the natural prevention of excess weight gain;
  • soups help normalize the water-salt balance in the body;
  • It is the first dishes in the cold season that normalize thermal energy, as a result of which a person quickly warms up and can stay in the cold for a long time;
  • boiled vegetables and meat retain more beneficial microelements and vitamins;
  • adding spices to a dish, for example, pepper, garlic, turmeric, coriander, basil, ginger and others, stimulate metabolism, helping to lose weight.

As mentioned above, even soup cooked with pork has fewer calories than potatoes stewed in oil or a sandwich with cheese.

Despite all the positive aspects, regular consumption of soups has contraindications, which include:

  • there are a number of contraindications for regular consumption - they are not recommended in the presence of diseases such as gout, chronic pathologies of the pancreas, increased gastric secretion, metabolic processes of arthritis;
  • regular consumption of soups requires a refusal to cook meat - protein is a building material, but in large quantities it causes a serious burden on the liver and kidneys;
  • Frequent consumption of liquid dishes leads to “relaxation” of the stomach - the walls of the stomach cannot accept tougher foods, and fatty foods are rejected.

So, soups have beneficial properties, but they also lead to troubles, provoking the development of chronic diseases.

Often, girls who have been losing weight using soups for a long time have encountered problems when quitting.

Such people cannot immediately begin to eat solid food - even a piece of rye bread is not digested by the stomach, but is rejected. This also often leads to the development of heaviness, heartburn, and bloating.

What products should not be used

For proper nutrition, it is necessary to observe restrictions on the use of products for making soups.

The following ingredients must not be added:

  • pork meat, lard, fatty areas of chicken and other parts;
  • potatoes that have not been pre-soaked in water - it is necessary to remove starch as much as possible;
    fatty fish;
  • smoked products - chicken, sausages and others (a soup such as
  • mixed meat solyanka).

To a greater extent, it is prohibited to combine certain products - potatoes and legumes (for example, bean soup is prepared only from legumes, vegetables and a small addition of meat), meat and butter or vegetable oils. The main task is to prepare the soup with the least amount of fatty foods added.

During heat treatment, meat products lose a lot of their beneficial vitamins and minerals. To properly prepare chicken breast soup, to preserve most of its beneficial substances, you need to know how to properly prepare this type of meat, how long the process of creating the dish should take.

How long to cook chicken breast

Chicken breast meat is rightfully considered one of the most affordable and popular meat products.

Most housewives believe that during the cooking process, white chicken meat becomes tough and bland, and this type of meat is best suited for cooking fried, stewed or for salad. This opinion is very erroneous - to cook breast, you just need to know how to choose it correctly, how much time you need to allocate for the cooking process.

In stores and supermarkets, chicken is sold chilled or frozen. Before you start cooking the breast, you should defrost the meat at room temperature, and then begin further heat treatment. The main secrets of boiling white meat for broth and soup are:

  1. Chicken fillet does not need to be separated from the bone or the skin removed for greater richness and flavor of the dish;
  2. The water should be cold and cover the meat;
  3. Add salt and spices only after boiling;
  4. The heat after boiling should be reduced so that the cooking process is slow and gradual, and the breast is then more juicy;
  5. When preparing soup, cook the fillet for no more than twenty minutes after boiling;
  6. Greens and bay leaves should be added at the end of cooking so that meat and other products do not become bitter;
  7. To reduce the entire cooking process, you can pre-cut the meat into pieces.

Another important fact that affects the entire process of cooking chicken breast is that the chicken can be raised at home and the cooking process will certainly increase in time. To check the readiness, you just need to pierce the meat with a fork and see the color of the juice that flows out - red and pink indicate that the white meat is not ready.

Quick recipe

The benefit of a liquid and hot dish with chicken fillet mainly lies in the fact that the meat consists of ¼ protein, it is low-calorie and perfectly supports the immune system, bringing vitamins B, C, PP, A into the body, minerals - iron, sodium, magnesium, potassium , chlorine and many others.

Cool the breast at normal room temperature, rinse, cut into three-centimeter pieces and place in a saucepan, cover with cold water. On the stove after it starts boiling, skimming off the foam, cook for ten minutes.

In parallel with the boiling process, peel the vegetables. Cut the potatoes into squares, carrots into strips, and onions finely as desired. Having sent the vegetables to the meat, cook for ten minutes, and then check the potatoes for readiness and add salt, spices and finely chopped dill. If necessary, cook for about five minutes over low heat.

Chicken breast soup should be allowed to brew for about fifteen minutes and can be served with fresh vegetables, herbs, and rye bread.

Diet chicken breast soup

When following a diet due to illness or simply to lose weight and maintain water balance in the body, the best option is to consume chicken breast soup. This white meat contains many useful microelements and is considered easily digestible. To prepare white meat soup you will need only:

  • chicken breast – 400 g;
  • carrots – 150 g;
  • potatoes – 300 g;
  • sweet pepper – 200 g;
  • greens – 40 g;
  • onion – 100 g;
  • salt, spices – 5 g;
  • bay leaf – 1 pc.;
  • water – 2.5 l.

Making dietary chicken soup takes only thirty minutes, and the nutritional value of one hundred grams is quite low and amounts to 25 kcal.

At the beginning of cooking, the meat should be cooled and cut into pieces measuring three centimeters. Pour cold water into the pan and place the fillet. After boiling it until cooked - this will take about fifteen minutes - skim off the foam and remove the entire boiled chicken breast from the broth.

While the meat is cooking, all the vegetables are prepared - peeled and cut into cubes of different sizes: large potatoes, carrots and peppers into centimeter cubes, and it is better to cut the onion into thin half rings. Potatoes are first added to the meat broth and boiled until soft. Then the remaining vegetables are poured in, salt and spices are added.

After five minutes, the meat is thrown back, as well as a bay leaf and finely chopped selected greens. After this, the soup can be removed from the stove and left to steep for ten minutes.

Be sure to remove the bay leaf before serving - it can add unnecessary bitterness to the dietary soup. You can increase the beneficial properties of the soup by adding buckwheat instead of potatoes.

Chicken fillet soup with noodles

Nevertheless, the most important feature of a liquid dish with chicken should not be considered only the benefits and rich vitamin complex of the meat product, but also the cooking time. The process of creating chicken breast soup is very easy, simple even with the addition of vermicelli, which not only goes well with all the ingredients, but also adds richness and satiety. To prepare a hot and tasty dish you will need:

  • potatoes – 300 g;
  • vermicelli (small) – 70 g;
  • chicken breast fillet – 400 g;
  • onion – 100 g;
  • vegetable oil – 20 g;
  • carrots – 100 g;
  • pepper, spices, salt – 5 g each;
  • bay leaf to taste;
  • water – 2 l.

A fragrant, satisfying first course will be ready in just forty minutes, its calorie content per hundred grams is 45 kcal.

The cooking principle is quite simple, and it is better to start the process with meat. It needs to be defrosted, washed and cut into pieces. Place in a saucepan, add water and place on high heat, which after boiling, reduce. You will need to remove the foam several times with a slotted spoon.

Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Add to the chicken fillet when the broth has boiled for twenty minutes. Cook, adding spices, pepper and salt until the potatoes are soft. During this time, the remaining vegetables need to be peeled, cut as desired and lightly fried in oil.

A couple of minutes before the end of cooking, add the fried onions and carrots, and at the very end, throw in the vermicelli, finely chopped greens and let it boil, immediately turn it off.

The soup can be served with fresh and canned vegetables, homemade not too fatty sour cream and bread.

Rich chicken breast soup with egg

The first hot dish can be prepared from almost any part of the chicken carcass. But it is breast soup that has:

  • excellent warming effect;
  • is easily digestible, low in calories;
  • contains proteins, carbohydrates and less cholesterol and fat compared to other meat products.

There are a lot of products that can add great satiety and richness to the soup. The chicken breast fillet in the broth goes wonderfully with the egg. To recreate a very simple, quick-to-prepare recipe you will need:

  • chicken breast – 400 g;
  • carrots – 100 g;
  • potatoes – 300 g;
  • eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • onions – 70 g;
  • greens to taste – 40 g;
  • salt, spices – 7 g each;
  • water – 2 l.

Just thirty minutes of time will be needed to create the soup, and the calorie content of one hundred grams will be equal to 38 kcal.

At the beginning of cooking, pour water into the pan and place chicken fillet cut into small pieces into it.

Place on the stove, cook over high heat until it boils, and then over low heat for 10 minutes. Don’t forget to remove the foam with a slotted spoon, salt the broth and add spices.

While the meat is boiling, you need to quickly peel the vegetables and chop them randomly, but preferably carrots into thick cubes, potatoes into large cubes, and onions into small ones. First, carrots are added to the broth with boiled breast, then onions. When these vegetables are boiled, add potatoes.

The eggs need to be driven into a separate container and beaten until foam forms. When all the vegetables in the soup are ready, you need to stir it quickly, while simultaneously pouring in the eggs in a very thin stream - they should curl into thin strings on the surface of the dish. Then the greens are added, the hot soup is infused for ten minutes.

You can serve with a salad of fresh, pickled vegetables, mustard and sour cream.

There are very few recipes that even inexperienced cooks can use to prepare a dish. These include a very healthy soup, which contains a number of vitamins and minerals in all ingredients, including chicken breast. There are a few simple tips that you should use when creating a tasty, satisfying and quick liquid dish:

  1. Vegetables will help add aroma and beautiful color to the broth with noodles - adding partially peeled onions, carrot roots, celery, parsley, which can then be easily removed from the soup;
  2. You should correctly calculate the amount of pasta for a liquid dish - by adding a lot of it you can get porridge rather than soup;
  3. If you want to cook a dish with clear broth, you should cook it slowly, over low heat, without covering it with a lid;
  4. It is better to add salt at the end of cooking the chicken breast, after removing all the foam;
  5. To reduce calorie content, you need to remove the skin and bones from the meat part, and to increase the richness and richness of the broth, on the contrary, leave them and cook the whole breast.

Chicken breast soup will turn out delicious in any case - the main thing is not to over-salt it. All products, especially vegetables and chicken fillet, are perfectly combined, bringing only the most beneficial substances to the body.

Date: 2017-04-18 Views: 28 165 Grade: 3.5 How often do you ask about soup on PP (proper nutrition). “What if it’s on the breast?”/“I can’t live without soup!”/“Soup is good for the stomach!” and your other endless questions.

What is soup? Soup is vegetables that have been boiled in water or meat broth. Let's dwell separately on meat broth. ⠀

Meat is a source of protein and fat. Saturated fats, which humans need in small quantities. And even if you cook broth on a lean piece of meat, you will still get broth with fat. Meat a priori contains fat. When boiled into broth, meat releases both fat and substances that “fertilized” the animal during its life or the meat (carcass) of the animal after slaughter. Can you guarantee yourself (not me, but yourself and your family) that the animal ate grass and did not eat dry food, and after slaughter the meat was not injected with anything to increase the amount of moisture, for example? I don't. I cannot guarantee this to myself. That’s why I don’t cook soups for children using the first broth. On the second - yes. When cooked in water, meat gives up fat (the same fat that we don’t eat, by the way) and all its “best” substances. Therefore, as soon as the water boils for the first time, boil for 5 minutes and drain. Fill with new cold water and then cook the broth. ⠀

This is the broth I use to cook soup. But I myself eat it extremely rarely.

Besides the fact that I don't see anything healthy in the broth from the soup, I don't eat it because I don't understand why there is a bowl of soup and not being full. You can fill yourself up with protein or by filling your stomach with fiber. There is practically no one or the other in the soup. Yes, of course, you got a filling of your stomach due to hot liquid food. By the way, broth, unlike water, lingers in the stomach. That is, it gives you a feeling of fullness in your stomach. But in essence, this is a deception. You filled your stomach with broth (essentially water, which contains virtually no nutrients or calories). Also, you cannot calculate a bowl of soup based on BZHU (proteins, fats, carbohydrates). The whole pan - yes. But not a plate. You cannot exactly calculate the amount of meat/fish/chicken, carrots, potatoes/rice/pasta and other vegetables that you put on a plate. You can't. You can roughly estimate the quantity. But you won't get the point. Imagine how many bowls of soup you need to eat to get 20 grams of protein? There are definitely 5 plates, if not more. The second question is about satiety. By eating a plate of the second dish and a salad, we will be full and will walk around not hungry for 2-3 hours. And if you eat a bowl of soup without everything and without anything else, will you be full for a long time? That is why we are used to eating a couple of pieces of bread with a bowl of soup. And then another second. Because that's how we get full.

Do you even know the history of soup?

In medieval times, the issue of food was acute. And so people had to figure out how to inexpensively feed themselves and their families. So they came up with the idea of boiling bones in water and adding vegetables to it. So that there is a lot (the plate is large in volume) and there is no need to give everyone meat (meat is too expensive, and bones are cheap). So think about the history of a food-saving product. And also about the benefits for the stomach. Soup is one of the foods that greatly stimulates the stomach. If we are talking about dietary nutrition, in the medical sense of the word “diet,” then soups are excluded from the diet. The menu of people with problems in the gastrointestinal tract includes lean lean meat and fish, cereals, sometimes dairy products, boiled vegetables and baked fruits, and omelettes. Eliminate or minimize as much as possible:

  • dishes containing extractive substances (meat, fish, mushroom broths; strong broths from vegetables);
  • spices (mustard, cinnamon, horseradish, etc.);
  • fried foods;
  • canned food;
  • tomato sauces;
  • meat and fish stewed in their own juice;
  • salted and smoked meat and fish products;
  • salted, pickled and pickled vegetables and fruits;
  • hard-boiled eggs, especially yolks;
  • rye bread and pastry products;
  • stale or overheated edible fats;
  • fermented milk products with high acidity, skim milk, whey;
  • strong tea, coffee;
  • drinks containing alcohol;
  • drinks containing carbon dioxide (carbonated);
  • sour and insufficiently ripe fruits and berries, raw vegetables.
This entire list of products strengthens the functioning of our gastrointestinal tract, and during stomach illness we try not to burden the stomach. I hope now you understand that the essence of the question is “is it possible to have soups on PP?” not entirely clear and correct. I can't think for you. My task is to tell you, and you will draw your own conclusions. So what should soups be on your table?

The chicken broth diet is part of the group of fast diets and, depending on the time it is followed, allows you to get rid of 3 to 10 extra kilograms of weight.

Today, the chicken broth diet is represented by several dietary options, which, in addition to the duration of their implementation, also differ in the possibility of consuming related products.

Composition and calorie content of chicken broth

Chicken broth itself is a golden (in color shades from yellow to light brown) broth from a whole carcass or parts of a given poultry. The transparency, fat content, richness and calorie content of chicken broth directly depend on the parts of the carcass used, the duration of their cooking, the quality of the selected bird and other nuances of the cooking process.

Of course, the most dietary broth will come from chicken fillet (skinless breast) of poultry raised on natural plant feed, which does not include hormones and antibiotics, without adding salt or other seasonings to the dish.

Composition of dietary chicken fillet broth (100 grams)

In addition, many useful and simply necessary substances are transferred from poultry meat to chicken broth.

The greatest value for the body is:

  • trace elements (iodine, iron, molybdenum, cobalt, zinc, manganese, chromium, copper, fluorine);
  • B vitamins ( , niacin , );
  • macroelements (potassium, chlorine, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium);
  • essential amino acids (arginine, methionine, leucine, valine, lysine, etc.);
  • fatty acids ( omega-3 And omega-6 );
  • essential amino acids (glutamine, aspartic, , alanine, glycine, etc.);
  • monounsaturated acids (heptadecenoic, palmitoleic, oleic);
  • saturated acids (arachidic, myristic, stearic, palmitic);
  • polyunsaturated acids (arachidonic, linolenic, linoleic).

Beneficial properties of chicken broth

Due to its positive effect on many organs and entire systems of the human body, chicken broth has long been recognized as a dietary product that promotes the speedy recovery of patients during the rehabilitation period after various recently suffered painful conditions (colds, heart disease, viral diseases, fractures, etc.), and also favors processes of growth and development of children.

Freshly prepared homemade chicken broth, due to the action of the liquefied sputum contained in it, significantly increases bronchial patency, which suffers from colds, infectious and viral diseases.

Due to the rather significant content proteins , And omega-3 acids This dietary broth, prepared without salt, is useful for hypertensive patients and patients with other cardiovascular pathologies, as it helps reduce plasma concentrations, normalize heartbeat and restore the myocardium.

Dietary first courses made with chicken broth have healing properties and are hypoacidic (low acidity), as they activate the secretion of bile and digestive juice.

Quite a large amount in chicken broth B vitamins allows it to take an active part in the regulation of fat, carbohydrate and other metabolic processes in the human body, thereby normalizing hematopoiesis, the activity of the central nervous system and its own.

A broth made from chicken bones and cartilage, due to its significant calcium content, has a positive effect on the restoration processes of the human skeletal system and will be extremely useful for recent fractures and injuries.

The abundance of such a microelement as iron, which is found in chicken broth in an easily digestible form for the body, promotes oxygen saturation of tissues, potentiates growth processes, and also has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the immune system and humans.

Diet chicken broth recipe

Before you cook dietary chicken broth, you need to decide on its ingredients, namely the parts of the bird carcass, on which the calorie content of the prepared dish will directly depend, and therefore the effectiveness of the diet.

When choosing chicken, it is better to choose poultry raised on natural feed at home, since the meat of factory-made broilers is often saturated with other substances potentially harmful to the human body, used to quickly increase the bird population in a short time.

The most suitable part of chicken for weight loss is its breast, previously cleared of skin and fat deposits (fillet), which contains the least amount of calories, while retaining all the beneficial substances inherent in chicken meat. However, it is quite difficult to purchase poultry breast separately and therefore, most likely, you will have to buy the whole carcass or use store-bought fillets to prepare the broth.

In the first case, the process of preparing the broth will look like this:

  • Take 500 grams of chicken breast, pre-peeled from skin, cartilage tissue and subcutaneous fat, and rinse it thoroughly under warm running water.
  • Place the resulting fillet in a saucepan with 3 liters of cold water and put it on the fire.
  • Bring the poultry meat to a boil and remove the resulting foam with a slotted spoon (to reduce the calorie content, you can pour out the initial broth and completely repeat the first two steps of the recipe).
  • Without adding fresh water, simmer homemade chicken meat over low heat for 30-60 minutes, depending on the age of the bird, periodically removing the resulting foam.

In the second case, cook chicken broth as follows:

  • Buy 500 grams of chicken fillet in a store (preferably in a specialized one).
  • If necessary, clean it of any remaining fat and cartilage and rinse under warm running water.
  • Place the fillet in a saucepan with 3 liters of cold water and put it on the fire.
  • Bring poultry to a boil.
  • Drain the first broth, rinse the poultry fillet under warm running water, fill it with 3 fresh liters of cold water and bring it to boil again (to reduce the content of harmful inclusions in the meat, you can also pour out the second resulting broth).
  • After boiling the broth again, reduce the intensity of the heat and, without adding fresh water, cook the store-bought fillet for about 20-30 minutes, periodically skimming off the resulting foam.
  • At the end of cooking the dish, in order to give the broth additional taste, you can add celery root to it.
  • Salting the dish and seasoning it with other spices at any stage of its preparation is prohibited.
  • After the required cooking time has passed, remove the cooked fillet from the pan and use broth and poultry according to the selected type of dietary regimen.

When cooking the dish over low heat, you should get about 2.5 liters of dietary broth.

Varieties

Today, there are three types of dietary regimen based on chicken broth for the purpose of rapid weight loss, two of which are “hard” mono-diets, and the third allows the addition of a nutritious diet with accompanying products.

Fasting days

This type of mono-diet is popular among people actively involved in fitness and is based on observing regular (once every 7-14 days) fasting days, which, in addition to some weight loss, allows you to “shake up” the body and rid it of harmful substances. Each fasting day can reduce your total weight by 1-1.5 kilograms.

Mono-diet on chicken broth

The goal of the second type of chicken broth mono-diet is to get rid of the maximum number of kilograms in a minimum period of time. This diet involves daily consumption of chicken broth for 7 days, without adding any other foods to the diet. A week of following such a mono-diet can lead to a loss of 7-10 kilograms of total weight.

It should be remembered that this diet is quite “strict” and is not suitable for every person. In addition, quickly getting rid of a significant amount of extra pounds is stressful for the body, after which it strives not only to replenish the missing mass, but also to stock up on fatty tissue for future use, which often leads to a lightning-fast gain of the previous weight and even exceeding this indicator. In order to maintain the achieved weight loss results, it is necessary to exit this diet gradually over at least another week, each subsequent day adding a little more related products to the diet.

When following such a mono-diet, excessive physical activity should be completely eliminated or significantly limited.

The third version of the chicken broth diet is represented by the most “soft” nutritious diet, also designed for 7 days, in which it is allowed to diversify the daily menu with other products. Unlike previous mono-diets, this diet is not as effective in terms of weight loss, but it is also not accompanied by a constant feeling of hunger and a delayed risk of weight gain exceeding the initial values. In 7 days of such a diet you can get rid of 3-4 kilograms of total weight.

At the end of this diet, it is also necessary to practice a gradual return to the usual daily menu with the gradual addition of other foods to the nutritious diet, while trying to use a minimum of fat and salt. In order to further maintain the achieved weight loss results, it is recommended to carry out fasting days once a week according to the principle described above.

The regimen for following this diet option can be combined with adequate physical exercise, which will contribute to its effectiveness and even get rid of 1-2 extra extra pounds.

Very important! When following any type of chicken broth diet, the use of salt, as well as any other spices, is strictly prohibited.

Authorized Products

If you follow a mono-diet, the list of allowed foods will naturally be limited only to chicken broth, green tea and plain water. The only relatively permitted ingredient used in the preparation of broth is celery root in small quantities.

If you choose a light diet, you can add already cooked chicken fillet, various vegetables (cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, eggplants), fruits (apples, grapefruits, oranges), low-fat cottage cheese, flaxseed oil and bran to the above products .

It is also unacceptable to eat fried, smoked, pickled, fatty and other foods harmful to human health. Another taboo is the consumption of any flour products, sweets, cereals, chips, crackers, etc.

Among liquid food products, it is forbidden to drink any sweet carbonated water, yoghurts, juices, fruit drinks, nectars, etc.

Menu (Meal Schedule)

Fasting days

The principle of the diet when following the first version of the diet comes down to drinking only freshly prepared chicken broth for 1-2 days (no more), which should be drunk 200-250 ml 5 times a day. Eating any additional foods should be avoided. During fasting days, it is allowed and even recommended to drink mineral water and unsweetened green tea in any volume.

Mono-diet on chicken broth

The seven-day menu of the second and most “strict” type of dietary regimen is also limited to chicken broth. Each new day of such a mono-diet requires the preparation of 2-3 liters of fresh broth from 2 chicken fillets, which must be divided into 5-7 equal parts and drunk as appetite sets in. Some nutritionists, if you feel a strong feeling of hunger, allow the possibility of eating a couple of diet breads within 24 hours. Throughout the entire period of the diet, you can drink mineral water and unsweetened green tea in any volume.

Light diet with chicken broth

During the week of following this diet option, you should combine chicken broth with the poultry meat from which it was prepared, and also add various unsweetened fruits and vegetables, bran, cottage cheese and flaxseed oil to the diet. Each day of such a light dietary regimen requires eating 1 liter of fresh chicken broth, supplemented on different days with meat, cottage cheese, vegetables, fruits (whole or in a salad dressed with flaxseed oil) and bran. The use of salt and other spices in all foods eaten is unacceptable. At the same time, you can drink mineral water and unsweetened green tea in any volume.

For a more productive result of this diet option, you can start it with 1-2 of the fasting days described above.

Recipes for dietary soups with chicken broth

Ingredients for the dish:

  • filtered water – 2 l;
  • chicken fillet (preferably homemade) – 500 g;
  • medium carrots – 2 pcs.;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • bay leaf – 1 pc.;
  • medium potatoes – 2-3 pcs.;
  • greens - to taste;

Rinse the chicken fillet thoroughly under running water, cut it into small portions and place them in a saucepan with a capacity of at least 3 liters.

Pour 2 liters of filtered cold water over the poultry fillet, place the pan on the fire (medium) and bring the future broth to a boil.

Use a slotted spoon to collect the resulting noise, reduce the heat intensity and cook the poultry until fully cooked.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the chicken from the broth and place it on the prepared plate.

Peel and rinse all cooked vegetables and herbs under running water. Chop the greens, cut the onions and potatoes into small cubes, and the carrots into short strips.

Boil potatoes, onions and carrots in broth in succession. 5 minutes before all the vegetables are fully cooked, add the boiled fillet, bay leaf, salt and other spices. After finishing cooking, decorate the resulting dish with your chosen herbs.

In the future, more complex first courses can be prepared based on this soup.

Ingredients for the dish:

  • filtered water – 2 l;
  • chicken fillet (preferably homemade) – 400 g;
  • beans – 60 g;
  • medium carrots – 2 pcs.;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • medium potatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • greens - to taste;
  • salt and other spices - to taste (preferably in minimal quantities).

Before preparing this soup, soak your beans (white or red) in cold water overnight.

The next morning, pour 2 liters of filtered cold water over the swollen beans, place the pan on the fire (medium), bring the water to a boil and cook the beans for about 20 minutes.

After this, repeat the above recipe for classic chicken soup, at the same time bringing the poultry and beans to full readiness.

Some people prefer to replace beans with lentils, which have a specific taste designed to diversify their daily diet.

Ingredients for the dish:

  • filtered water – 2 l;
  • chicken fillet (preferably homemade) – 500-700 g;
  • medium carrots – 1 pc.;
  • cauliflower – 500 g;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • bell pepper – 1 pc.;
  • medium potatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • garlic – 2 teeth;
  • greens - to taste;
  • salt and other spices - to taste (preferably in minimal quantities).

Initially, cook the poultry fillet as in the first case and remove it from the pan.

Peel and rinse all cooked vegetables and herbs under running water, remove the seed box with all the seeds from the bell pepper, and keep the cauliflower in cold salted water (to get rid of possible insects).

Chop the greens and garlic, cut the onions and potatoes into small cubes, bell peppers and carrots into short strips, and disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences.

Boil potatoes, onions, cauliflower, bell peppers and carrots in broth in succession. 5 minutes before all vegetables are fully cooked, add boiled fillet, chopped garlic, salt and other spices. After finishing cooking, decorate the resulting dish with your chosen herbs.

Quitting the diet

The option described below for the correct way out of the diet is mainly suitable for a 7-day mono-diet on chicken broth.

When leaving the light diet option on chicken broth, you should use the principle of gradually expanding the nutritious diet over at least a week.

Cons
  • Chicken broth is recognized as a dietary dish, which is often prescribed for the speedy recovery of patients during the rehabilitation period after various recent painful conditions.
  • The cost of the broth is minimal and accessible to everyone.
  • Chicken meat is rich in various substances beneficial to the human body (, , micro-macroelements, etc.).
  • A lighter type of diet is quite effective in terms of weight loss and at the same time minimizes the feeling of hunger.
  • If you follow a 7-day mono-diet, you will lose the maximum number of kilograms in a minimum period.
  • Regular practice of fasting days (once every 1-2 weeks) helps gradual weight loss and maintains the positive results of previous weight loss.
  • Any version of the chicken broth diet improves metabolism (subject to the recommended time of compliance).
  • Preparing the broth most suitable for the diet requires the use of homemade chicken breast, which is quite difficult to purchase separately.
  • Chicken broth prepared without adding salt and other spices does not have an attractive taste.
  • Compliance with fasting days and a 7-day mono-diet will be accompanied by a feeling of hunger and therefore an increased risk of “breakdown”.
  • An incorrect exit from a mono-diet in most cases leads to a rapid return to the original weight and even to the gain of extra pounds.
  • Any version of the chicken broth diet has a number of contraindications related to human health (heart disease, gastrointestinal tract, anemia , etc.). If these and other medical conditions are identified, you should consult with a qualified nutritionist before following a diet.

Results and reviews of the chicken broth diet

In general, nutritionists regard the chicken broth diet as a fairly effective way to lose weight in a short period of time, but they warn their patients against being overly enthusiastic about such diets and advise resorting to them no more than 3-4 times a year. In addition, if the recommended exit from the diet is not followed, experts focus their attention on the high risk of returning to the original weight or even gaining additional body weight, which will be even more difficult to get rid of in the future, which is often confirmed by reviews of people who have experienced such negative consequences.

The positive results of losing weight with chicken broth, depending on the chosen diet option, are also quite individual and vary from 3 to 10 kilograms. In this regard, nutritionists consider fasting days to be the healthiest and optimal way to gradually lose weight using chicken broth.

Most often on the Internet you can find reviews of this nature:

  • «… All my life I have been a chubby chubby girl who tried many diets and made a huge number of attempts to lose weight, including the recommended “proper nutrition” by everyone. And finally, the chicken broth diet brought my body the real long-awaited salvation! Firstly, I simply adore chicken and all other dishes based on it, and secondly, I cannot stand prolonged feelings of hunger, so a diet based on broth, chicken meat and vegetables is the optimal solution for me. Yes, the results of this diet are not as fast as just eating broth, but I lost as much as 4 kilograms and at the end of the week I fit into my favorite jeans, which simply no longer fit on me. On a five-point scale, I would rate this diet a solid 5 points»;
  • «… I drank only chicken broth for a whole week and naturally it was very difficult for me, I wanted to eat all the time, but I still restrained myself. I left the diet as prescribed and at this stage it became much easier. I lost 6 kilograms and for 6 months now I have been able to avoid weight gain and stay in great shape. My dance classes also help me with this. In general, I learned to maintain my weight. But by and large, the diet is not easy and not everyone can do it. Despite its positive result, my memories of that week are not the best»;
  • «… A few months ago I made a choice in favor of this diet; then I needed to look perfect in one dress. I didn’t need to get rid of many kilograms, I just wanted to quickly reduce my tummy. I don’t know exactly what the results would be in a week, but only three days were enough for me to get the desired effect. And I also added 150 grams of cottage cheese in the morning and evening, since I needed strength to work. At the same time, such a short hunger strike will certainly not have a bad effect on the body, because it is not for nothing that doctors advise drinking such a broth for various diseases. I recommend this short-term diet to everyone, it’s better than sitting on carrots or apples all day long.»;
  • «… Frankly speaking, for me this diet turned out to be downright painful and useless. And not only because of a very limited nutritional diet, but also because of the complete rejection of other foods. I don’t like to get used to such strict food restrictions; it’s really difficult for me to give up sweet fruits, bread and even salt. And all for what? Even though I lost a couple of kilograms, I still couldn’t maintain my weight. It’s just that after such a severe diet, you incredibly want to eat well. I think that the chicken broth diet is intended exclusively for people with colossal willpower, but, unfortunately, I’m not one of them».

Diet price

The cost of one day of a mono-diet on chicken broth, taking into account the use of only 500 grams of poultry fillet, averages 100 rubles.

If you add vegetables and fruits to your diet, one day of such a diet will cost about 150 rubles.

A simple recipe for crucian fish soup with potatoes. Crucian carp, like many other river fish, has a lot of bones. The bones are so small and there are so many of them that it is very difficult to eat fish without fear of swallowing a bone. But what a wonderful fish broth the river fish produces! That’s why the fish soup from it turns out to be very tasty, rich, and when it hardens it almost always gels. Potatoes will add nutritional value to the soup, and carrots and onions will enrich the taste and aroma of the broth.
