Appetizing pasta with chicken and vegetables in a slow cooker

Fried chicken with pasta and vegetables, and even sour cream - what could be tastier? And if you add spaghetti instead of, say, “feathers,” then you can safely call this dish pasta.

Today we will show you how you can cook pasta with chicken in a slow cooker, and to make them not so lonely, we will dilute the company with vegetables and sour cream.

This food is not dietary, and is not suitable for adherents of a healthy lifestyle and separate nutrition, however, sometimes, when you need to cook something quickly and tasty, this dish has no equal!

To prepare fried chicken with pasta and vegetables, you will need the following ingredients:

Cooking time – 1 hour.

The specified amount of ingredients will yield 4-6 servings.

Step 1

Instead of fillet, you can also use breast, but first do not forget to thoroughly clean it of films, red streaks and generally unappetizing places.

Wash the chicken fillet, dry it lightly on a towel, and cut into portioned cubes across the grain.

Now add your favorite spices to the chicken - it could be oregano, paprika, turmeric, soy sauce or bell pepper. Mix the chicken pieces thoroughly and leave it there for 15 minutes so that the spices saturate the bird well.

Turn on the “Baking” or “Frying” mode in your magic pot, wait a few minutes until the bowl heats up. Pour in a drop of vegetable oil (you can replace it with a piece of butter - the taste of the original dish will only benefit from this), and lay out the chicken.

Note: instead of fillet, you can fry the legs in the same way - it all depends on your desire.

Step 2

Meanwhile, while the chicken is frying, peel the onions and cut them into small cubes.

Remove the skin from the carrots and grate it.

Scald the tomato with boiling water so that the skin comes off easily, peel the vegetable and chop it finely.

We wait until a golden crust begins to form on the fillet and add onion to it. All this is fried for 5-7 minutes, after which we add the carrots.

After 10 minutes, add the chopped tomato.

If you wish, you can add a couple of cloves of garlic, having previously chopped them before adding them to the multicooker bowl - this will make the dish more aromatic.

Don’t forget to mix the contents of the multicooker well each time.

Note: in fact, the vegetables added to this dish can be absolutely anything. For example, green beans or bell peppers would go well with chicken. And for mushroom lovers there is good news - if you want to add champignons to the dish, they will come in handy.

Step 3

After 40 minutes from the start of cooking, when the fillet and vegetables are almost ready, it’s time for the pasta.

Pour dry pasta into the bowl of a multi-cooker (you can’t call it anything other than magic - both pasta and meat will be cooked in the same bowl!), fill with hot boiled water - a couple of multi-cups, maybe even less, depending on the amount added pasta.

Add a little salt - literally on the tip of a knife.

The water should not cover them, otherwise you will end up with a paste instead of firm al dente pasta.

Now close the lid of the multicooker and turn on the “Heating” mode for 15 minutes.

Note: spaghetti for this dish is even better suited than ordinary “horns” or “feathers” - the aromatic juice of fried chicken and vegetables, coupled with sour cream, will envelop the spaghetti, causing the pasta to literally “merge” with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 4

In the meantime, wash and dry the greens on a disposable or cotton towel.

Grind it on a cutting board.

5 minutes before the end of cooking, add a couple of spoons of sour cream and chopped herbs to the pasta with chicken in the slow cooker, stir everything well with a spatula, and wait the remaining time.

Ready pasta with chicken in a slow cooker can be additionally sprinkled with grated cheese and served. We guarantee that your family or guests will sweep this dish off the table in a couple of minutes.

Option 1. Pasta with chicken in a slow cooker: classic recipe

Such a simple and nutritious dish as naval pasta is known to everyone. Even an inexperienced housewife can handle its preparation, and using a multicooker will make the task much easier.

To prepare pasta with chicken in a slow cooker, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken (fillet or carcass);
  • 400-500 g pasta;
  • 1 small onion;
  • 1-2 garlic cloves;
  • salt and seasonings to taste;
  • 3-4 tablespoons of refined oil for frying.

Cut the meat into medium-sized cubes, rub it with a mixture of salt and selected seasonings and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

Set the “Frying” program on the multicooker and heat the vegetable oil.

Place the chicken in a bowl and fry evenly until golden brown.

Add chopped onion and garlic to the fillet and fry until soft.

Place the pasta on top, level it with a spatula and pour boiling water so that the water completely covers the mixture. Add a pinch of salt.

Lightly stir the pasta with a spatula, being careful not to touch the meat layer. This will help the “spirals” or “shells” to absorb enough water.

Cover the dish with a lid and turn on the “Pilaf” mode.

After waiting for the signal indicating readiness, you will need to remove the lid, stir the mixture and place the dish on plates. A salad of fresh vegetables goes well with navy pasta. Bon appetit!

Option 2. Pasta with chicken and tomatoes in a slow cooker - a “quick” recipe

When you can’t spend time pre-marinating meat, you can use a “quick” recipe and cook pasta with chicken and tomatoes in a slow cooker, spending less than an hour.

  • 300 g pasta;

Place the chicken in a bowl and fry until the meat turns golden, remembering to stir.

While the fillet is frying, cut the onion into half rings, chop the garlic, bell pepper and peeled tomatoes.

Pour the vegetables into the meat and cook in the stew mode for at least a quarter of an hour.

Add pre-boiled pasta to the mixture of meat and vegetables, add a little salt and mix.

Set the stew to “stew”, close the lid of the device and leave the dish for another quarter of an hour, adding finely chopped basil or cilantro some time before the end of cooking.

  • 0.5 kg of pasta;
  • 1 cup cream 20% fat;
  • 1-2 bell peppers;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • salt and seasonings;
  • refined oil for frying.

Pour vegetable oil into the bowl and heat for a few minutes.

Place the meat in a slow cooker and fry, stirring constantly, until a crust forms.

Add chopped vegetables, salt and pepper, and fry for a quarter of an hour.

Then set the simmer mode and cook the mixture under the lid for another half hour.

While the meat and vegetables are stewing, boil the pasta until tender, rinse and drain in a colander.

Add pasta to the meat and vegetables and pour cream over the mixture. Simmer the dish for another quarter of an hour under the lid.
