That is why a student may often remain dissatisfied with the grade received. To prevent this from happening, let's study the basic rules for expressing our thoughts using the example of the topic “My favorite subject.” An essay on this topic is suitable for students of any grade, therefore the tips described below are relevant for students from elementary school to high school.

The remaining points regarding literacy, punctuation and relevance of reasoning to the topic are mandatory.
“My Favorite Subject” is an essay that allows the student to give his thoughts great freedom. To start writing text, there are several options:
You can express any of your thoughts. The main thing is that the story does not begin abruptly, without an introduction. For example: “I love mathematics.” This is the wrong start, because first of all you should start reasoning and only then move on to the main part.
In this part you reveal the topic “My favorite subject”. The essay should fully convey your thoughts and ideas.
Having finished the main part, we move on to the conclusion.
In this part, the student must draw a conclusion on the topic “My favorite subject.” The essay should end logically and reflect a personal opinion. For example: “I believe that any object can be loved by someone. I don't really like physics, but my friend is incredibly passionate about this science. This shows that every school subject is important.”
This way you can write an essay “My favorite subject at school.”
I do well at school and usually get high marks in all subjects. And yet my favorite school subjects are literature and Russian language. I learned to read before school and since then I have read a lot of interesting and fascinating books. Of course, what I love most is adventure and fantasy, but I also have time for classic literature.
It’s usually easy for me to answer in class because most of the works I’m studying are already familiar to me. I read equally well in both Russian and Ukrainian, but Russian is still closer to me, because everyone in my family speaks Russian. But writing beautifully and without mistakes is not so difficult. The main thing is to be careful and not rush to write without thinking.

What school subject do you like best? What subject do you hate?
What I like most is biology. First of all, because of our teacher. At first he taught the world around me, then I liked that subject, but after the teacher was replaced, I immediately stopped liking the lesson. And I am very glad that now he is teaching biology.
Literature is my favorite school subject, and there are several reasons for this. Firstly, I really love reading and consider it the most interesting activity and the most useful hobby.
My favorite school subject... in other words, lesson! This is the world around us. I'm interested in understanding how and why everything happens around us. Why does it rain, for example. Only our very ancient ancestors thought this
There are many interesting subjects in the school curriculum. Each student can choose one that is close and interesting to them. But all of them, except for the foreign language, are taught in our country in the native Russian language.
All school subjects can be compared to the bricks that make up our general education. They are equally important elements of this education, and it is impossible, giving preference to one, not to engage in others at all
I love technology! I like it when I can do something with my hands. It’s great to sew and embroider, knit, cook... And it’s so funny that you sew something, and they give you a test - you don’t need to learn anything.
I can’t even say for sure what my favorite class is at school... But I still like computer science. She is less disliked. I really love playing computer games, that's true. Although mom says it's not very good!
It’s a surprisingly pleasant thing when you go to school with joy, knowing that your favorite subject will be taught today. No need to sit at your desk and wait for change. On the contrary, you sit with your mouth open and listen to the teacher
Of all the subjects that we have at school, I like fine arts the most. You probably want to ask, why drawing? I think this is because I really like to draw and we have a good teacher
For me, my favorite subject in the school curriculum is physical education. Why? It's very simple. When I exercise, I feel strong. And with every lesson I become stronger and stronger
My favorite subject is music. On this subject, our friendly team is constantly preparing some sketches, miniatures or even musicals. I love the atmosphere created by portraits of great composers hanging on the walls.
I love to study and I like different sciences. But my favorite subject is English language and literature. These subjects are taught by wonderful teachers. We started learning English from the second grade.
I like to study. New knowledge opens up new impressions, new opportunities, new territories. The human brain requires constant development. I really like studying history
I am often asked: “What is your favorite lesson at school?”, and I proudly answer – art lesson!
You may think that this is an answer for the sake of an answer or simply that I don’t like studying, but this is far from the case. I like art classes because it gives me freedom. During a drawing lesson, I am not taught rules, laws, I am taught to express myself. Self-expression is freedom.
The teacher talks about art history in class. About what styles there were in different eras. We will also learn about great artists, including Russian ones. The teacher brings copies of their work to class. Looking at the paintings of great artists, the motivation to create, the desire to paint appears. We are taught to draw with pencil, watercolor, and gouache. Personally, I prefer gouache, because the paintings turn out bright and memorable. We also learn how to sculpt from plasticine. It's very interesting when you can sculpt an animal or a character from your favorite cartoon out of a sticky lump.
But most often we paint with paints. The teacher gives us various topics for drawings. For example, it could be the Olympic Games of Ancient Greece, or a house in the style of the future, or the nature of the native land. I like drawing animals most of all. This could be my cat, who is playing with her toy, or a wolf, who is hunting in the wild, or birds, who have flown from their wintering grounds to their birdhouses.
My favorite lesson was when we drew with pencils on a free topic. As usual, not knowing where to start, I stared out the window. Outside the window was “Golden Autumn”. And suddenly it dawned on me that I need to paint autumn. The trees turned out to be very beautiful, with leaves of all possible colors: green, yellow, red. The picture looked something like this: a birch alley, painted with people resting on benches and birds, which, apparently, were preparing to fly. The teacher gave me an A for this drawing. At home I showed it to my parents, and they also praised it and offered to hang it on the refrigerator, but I did not agree. I decided to do something different. I bought a special picture frame and hung this picture on the wall in my room. Later, the entire wall was covered with my “creations.”
The drawing lesson was created not only to fill the hours of the school curriculum. It helps you realize yourself, express your thoughts and emotions on paper.
Among all school subjects, I like English the most. In elementary school, learning a foreign language seemed like a difficult and impossible process for me. Other letters, other words, at first it was difficult to learn to read.
But after some time of persistent effort, I began to be able to do it better and even like it. I try to listen carefully to the teacher in class, do homework, read and translate texts. I look for a lot of words that are unknown to me in the dictionary.
Our teacher explains all the material to us in detail, tells us interesting information, questions us and corrects mistakes. Sometimes we learn poems, riddles, and short texts in English by heart. In my classes, I get, in most cases, good grades, but sometimes there are difficulties in studying some topics, but I try.
Learning foreign languages (especially English), despite the complexity of this process, is very important for the future of each of us.
So, why do we need to know English? And why is it taught in schools? There are many answers to these questions, in particular:
Besides English, I also like subjects such as biology, geography and social studies. I am interested in listening to the teacher's story, reading textbooks on these subjects, going on excursions and learning a lot of new things. But despite this, I consider English an important and necessary subject for me. However, each of us has our own preferences and choices, each has our own favorite school subject.
