Dmitry Karpachev recently became a popular presenter on the STB TV channel and an expert in family relationships, but now it’s hard to imagine Ukrainian television without such popular projects as “Save Our Family”, “Pregnant at 16”, “One for All” and “Lie Detector”. Let's get to know this talented psychologist better.

The biography is relatively small, since he does not like to advertise his personal life. However, it is known that Dmitry was born in December 1978 in Kirovograd, where he spent his childhood and youth. In this city he graduated from school, and a little later from Kirovograd National Technical University with a degree in Marketing. In addition, Dmitry studied at the Higher School of Sociology at the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, upon completion of which he became seriously interested in psychology. To gain knowledge in this area, he enters the Kirovograd Institute of Management and Economics to major in psychology and coaching.

Having found his path in life, Dmitry Karpachev began professionally consulting people in the field of psychology at the age of 25. Until 2009, he was engaged exclusively in individual consultations, after which he began working as a psychologist on the First National Channel in the Savik Shuster Studio program. Two years later, he becomes a consulting psychologist in the “Rules of Life” project. At the end of the same year, Dmitry Karpachev received the right to host his own program called “Honey, we are killing children.” Next year it professional activity became even more in demand, as a result of which new television programs “Lie Detector”, “Save Our Family”, as well as the post-mother-daughter show “Honey, We Kill Children” appeared on the screens. In 2013, another project was added to his “track record” - “One for All”.

In his consultations, psychologist Dmitry Karpachev often raises the topic of the relationship between men and women in the family, as well as the attitude of parents towards children. He insists that the spouses spend more time together, help each other and say the main words more often. Regarding children, Dmitry talks about the importance of proper upbringing. Only in this case will the child grow up and be able to create a happy family.

In addition to developing their television projects, Dmitry Karpachev continues to conduct individual consultations and public seminars. For example, at the end of 2013, the popular presenter visited the city, where he gave an hour-long lecture on the topic “What are you ready for for love?”

The personal life of Dmitry Karpachev is quite closed, so few people know about it. However, it is known that the popular TV presenter and psychologist Dmitry Karpachev has a wife who does her favorite thing - teaching yoga. The family is raising a son, Svyatogor, who is four years old. When asked how many children there should be in a family, Dmitry Karpachev replies that this is a purely personal matter. In particular, one child is enough for him, with whom he cannot always cope. However, when Svyatogor becomes independent and leaves family nest, Dmitry will probably be able to decide to have another child.

We will continue to follow the biography of Dmitry Karpachev, a talented psychologist and good TV presenter STB channel. Since Dmitry Karpachev’s biography is not on Wikipedia, we publish it on this page so that you have the opportunity to get acquainted with this outstanding person.

In the intro of the reality show “Kohana, we are killing children,” the announcer names Dmitry Karpachev as a candidate psychological sciences. But at the same time, in the biography of the TV presenter on the channel’s website there is not a word about scientific degree, transmits

The question is, why? Perhaps the STB page does not contain all the information about scientific achievements Karpacheva. Or are TV viewers being deliberately misled by the TV presenter’s non-existent scientific authority?

If you believe the more detailed biography of the psychologist on the website therapist.com.ua (in this moment his profile is unavailable), from 2004 to 2007 Karpachev Dmitry Vilyamovich received the second higher education majoring in Psychology at the Kirovograd Institute regional administration and economics (KIRUE). Accordingly, it can be assumed that he defended his Ph.D. thesis in psychology no earlier than 2007, having at least an education diploma.

Therefore, journalists sent a request to UkrINTEI (Ukrainian Institute of Scientific, Technical and Economic Information), where the entire database of abstracts and all candidate dissertations defended in Ukraine, starting in 1993, is stored. A few days later, a letter arrived saying that Dmitry Karpachev did not register his dissertation with UkrINTE in 1993-2013.

Surprised by this response, journalists sent two more requests to Kirovograd universities, where the TV presenter allegedly studied. And asked for guidance educational institutions confirm or deny the fact that a student with that last name is studying. The answer came only from the Kirovograd National Technical University (KNTU, formerly KISHM), where, judging by the biography, in 1998-2003 Dmitry Karpachev received an education in the specialty “Marketing”. However, KNTU was unable to provide such information. “We sincerely inform you that our initial deposit of Dmitry Vilyamovich Karpachov informs you that the database of these individuals, which we started with, dates back more than 2000 years. This person is not included in this database,” said the letter from the first vice-rector of KNTU.

This seems surprising, considering that Dmitry Karpachev graduated from this university supposedly in 2003. Although, it is possible that the student database is maintained by enrollment, not graduation. Which, you see, is also quite strange.

Unfortunately, the journalists never received a response from KIRUE, where, as already mentioned, in 2004-2007 Karpachev received a second degree in Psychology. Perhaps the registered letter simply got lost in the mail. Or the management of a private university, which recently had problems with a license from the Ministry of Education, is not at all interested in answering journalists’ requests.
But it must be said that in private conversations, current students of the Faculty of Psychology of KIRUE admitted to the Dusya website that they had heard about the graduate-TV presenter, and even hung his portrait with a biography on the honor board. True, they say that at that time there was a different dean at the faculty, and the rest of the teachers don’t remember him much. They say because he studied in the correspondence department and came only for sessions.

It is not surprising that in 2004 Dmitry Karpachev entered the correspondence course. By the time he received his basic psychological education, he had already studied in several psychological schools additionally. We did not even check the fact that the TV presenter studied at Erikson College or at the Kyiv Association of Psychologists and Practitioners, since anyone can graduate from them. But it is unlikely that you will be able to defend your PhD thesis on their basis and become a scientist.

Finally, I would like to say that in our country, where even the president considered himself a “professor,” it is difficult to surprise someone with a “fake” diploma or even a “Candidate of Sciences.” How many other such “scientists” do we have?

Dmitry protects his personal life from unnecessary attention, so little is known about his family: his wife Irina is fond of yoga and is raising her son Svyatogor. In his programs, the presenter stipulated that he tried to relieve his wife of household duties and devote a lot of time to her. It seems that knowledge in the field of psychology helps Dmitry in his own family relationships :)

Dmitry Karpachev was born in Kirovograd in 1978. At first, he did not plan to become a TV presenter and studied to be a marketer at the Kirovograd National technical university and at the Higher School of Sociology at the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Then he discovered his interest in psychology and made a choice in its favor. Mastered psychology and coaching at the Association of Practicing Psychologists and Psychotherapists, the European Association of Psychologists, MGI, Moscow Center for Neurolinguistic Programming in Education and Erikson International College. While still studying, in 2003, he became a practicing psychologist, NLP trainer and Gestalt therapist.

Since 2009, he began working on television, first as a talk show moderator, and in 2011 he began hosting his project “Honey, We Kill Children.” Reality became so successful that it was born whole line projects about family relationships with the participation of Dmitry. On TV channel "Yu" you can see "Honey, we are killing children" and "Save our family."

Dmitry Karpachev - mysterious figure on Ukrainian television. He positions himself as a professional psychologist, skillfully solving family and personal problems, resolving conflicts and even conducting trainings outside the “blue screen”. For him, any hidden and private information becomes obvious. Although everything that concerns him own life, carefully hidden from prying eyes.

What is known about Dmitry Karpachev?

It is much easier to find a photo of Dmitry Karpachev than even his date of birth. Careful searches can only lead you to his official pages, where indicated - December 1978. The date remains a mystery.

But it is reliably known that Dmitry was born in Kirovograd (Ukraine). According to “official” sources, he received his first education there as a marketer. He mastered the specialty of a psychologist and coach already in Kyiv. He also has a practitioner's diploma in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Karpachev’s biography indicates the completion of many courses and trainings. During a recent investigation by journalists, it turned out that not all certificates and diplomas were confirmed.

Behind the curtain of the mystery is the personal life of the presenter. All that is known for certain is that he is married and has only son Svyatogor (Dmitry appeared with him in a social video for the STB TV channel). But Karpachev hides his wife Irina from the general public. The only thing that the guesswork led to was her place of work. Presumably, Irina is a yoga instructor. Since 2009, the couple has lived and worked in the capital.

Television career of Dmitry Karpachev

Dmitry Karpachev became known to a wide circle of people precisely as a TV presenter. Before appearing on the silver screen, he worked exclusively in Kirovograd, conducting psychological trainings and consultations.

His television career began in 2009. At first, the role was relatively minor - a psychologist in the show “Schuster Live”. Perhaps such work did not bring large earnings or any fame, but it became the first step towards building a successful career.

In 2011, Karpachev moved from Channel One to STB. This was definitely the right move, because it was here that he declared himself as a presenter and psychologist, and gained wide circle fans. It’s not surprising, because it was difficult not to love the calm, ironic and attractive man. Dmitry was ideally suited to the role of a judge in various social projects. The reality show “Honey, We're Killing the Children,” an analogue of the English project Honey, We're Killing the Kids, was dedicated to problem families (currently closed).

Further, Dmitry's popularity grew in geometric progression- “Lie Detector”, “Pregnant at 16”, “One for All”, “Mothers and Daughters”, “Save Our Family”. Each of these programs attracted a wide audience of viewers. A large part of the credit for this success is Karpachev’s participation. He resolves conflicts skillfully and tactfully, nevertheless “revealing” the feelings of not only a specialist, but a father, a living person. According to insider information, the presenter rarely uses prepared texts, but improvises “as the action progresses.”

In addition to his career as a TV presenter, Dmitry Karpachev is actively working as a trainer in NLP, psychology, and conducts seminars.

"Lie Detector" with Dmitry Karpachev

This is another analogy foreign project(The Moment of Truth). In it, people from different categories of the population are forced to answer very sensitive questions. Whoever holds on until the very end and remains honest even in the face of loved ones receives valuable prize. “Lie Detector” with Dmitry Karpachev in Russian is popular among the audience.

Answers to questions are tested using a polygraph, which is where the name for the program comes from. In the first seasons, only simple people, but later celebrities began to come to the show.

Psychologist or charlatan?

Dmitry Karpachev recently found himself at the center of an investigation. By a fateful coincidence, one of the participants in the project on the STB TV channel committed suicide 2 weeks after filming. This has led some to doubt professional level presenter

Having initiated checks, journalists discovered information that in some training centers He was never included in Dmitry’s list of education. These facts cast doubt on whether Karpachev is really a certified psychologist and NLP trainer. There were no official comments from the presenter or the channel’s management.

"Honey, we are killing children!"

For the first time in all seven seasons, the usually calm and self-possessed psychologist refused to deal with the problem of one of the participating families. Another famous project, which was hosted by Dmitry Karpachev - “Honey, we are killing children!” The plot of the program is known to everyone. But it came as a surprise to many that the presenter also has his own “boiling point.”

The Okhtema family turned out to be so indifferent and indifferent that even Karpachev’s extensive experience and practice did not help. This is the only case when the TV channel’s team refused the parents of a problem child.

Dmitry Karpachev: biography

Dmitry Karpachev is a Ukrainian psychologist and TV presenter. Dmitry hosts popular shows with a social bent: “Honey, we are killing children”, “Lie Detector”, “Pregnant at 16”, “Mothers and Daughters”, the reality show “Save Our Family”. Some of these programs are aimed at showing the lives of real average people, original formats invented on Ukrainian TV, which nevertheless won the love of TV viewers outside the country.

Because of such popularity of the programs, the face of Dmitry Karpachev is familiar to both Russian and Belarusian viewers. The psychologist hosts most of the shows that have become famous and gone beyond the country, so there is a joke in the Russian-speaking Internet community that Dmitry Karpachev is the only TV presenter on Ukrainian TV.

Dmitry Karpachev is called one of the most “secret” TV presenters in Ukraine. About a psychologist, only what lies on the surface is known. The details of Karpachev’s work on television are unknown.

Even Karpachev’s date of birth is unknown. There is only a year - 1978 - and the month December. Dmitry was born in Kirovograd. He doesn’t tell anything about his childhood and youth. Who are Karpachev’s parents by profession, what activities and hobbies did the TV presenter have in early years, history is also silent.

After graduating from school, Karpachev remained in hometown, where he entered the university. I chose the Faculty of Marketing. After receiving his diploma, Dmitry decided not to give up his education. Karpachev entered High school sociology, which was established at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. During these years, Karpachev finally formed a vision future profession. Dmitry realized that he was most interested in psychology.

Therefore, the young man sits down on the student bench again. This time - the Institute of Management and Economics. Chooses a narrow specialization - psychology and coaching.

Psychology and television

Television career and creative biography Dmitry Karpachev started in 2009. Before this, Dmitry worked as a psychologist-consultant in his hometown and conducted trainings. Apparently, these activities did not bring high and stable earnings. Therefore, when in 2009 Karpachev received an offer from the management of the Shuster Live Studio project, the young psychologist immediately agreed. Dmitry was invited to work as a psychologist-moderator.

This position turned out to be useful for Dmitry Karpachev to gain first experience working in television. This work paved the path to those heights, which the young man soon began to take one after another.

From the First National Channel, Dmitry migrated to the more dynamic STB. This turned out to be the right step, because at STB Karpachev gained fame and popularity among viewers. Dmitry remains on this channel today.

The debut project on STB was the program “Rules of Life”. Here the psychologist turned into a TV presenter. Absence special education did not become an obstacle for career growth. The charming, intelligent, slightly ironic TV presenter was immediately liked by the audience. The channel management, seeing Karpachev’s growing popularity ratings, offered Dmitry new project– social reality show “Honey, we are killing children.”

Behind such a provocative and even frightening name lies a project about difficult children and teenagers, whose behavior confuses their parents. The heroes of the show can often be called little monsters: these children are spoiled, rude, capricious, uneducated and overly self-confident. But the goal of the show is to show that these are just children, suffering from parental inattention or misunderstanding, often from socially disadvantaged families.

The TV presenter clearly shows what will happen if parents do not stop treating their children the way they did before. In addition, the psychologist involves the family in experiments that force parents to reconsider their views on raising children.

This show was an adaptation of the popular British program “Honey, we’re killing the kids.”

The success of the program on Ukrainian television demonstrated that STB’s personnel policy in relation to Dmitry was correct. Karpachev is constantly offered new and new projects, which the TV presenter easily manages to turn into ratings and loved by thousands of viewers.

“Lie Detector”, “Pregnant at 16”, “Mothers and Daughters”, the reality show “Save Our Family” - Ukrainian TV viewers watch these programs with great interest. Dmitry Karpachev manages to masterfully manage the filming process, keep the audience in suspense and masterfully “taxi” the the desired topic. At the same time, the presenter does not read pre-prepared texts and easily improvises.

These TV shows are often called a true phenomenon. Scandalous shows, in which the main characters are mainly dysfunctional families, have become deafeningly popular both among Ukrainian television viewers and among viewers in other countries post-Soviet space. Critics are inclined to believe that the projects led by Karpachev look advantageous in contrast to the numerous television competitions, where only show business stars participate, who will never become close to television viewers. Against the backdrop of these shows, programs with main characters in which viewers recognize, if not themselves, then their neighbors, attract attention.

Suddenly Karpachev's programs became popular among younger generation, which in principle prefers the Internet to television. IN in social networks There are entire groups where screenshots from these programs are posted. Regulars of these groups often share the most paradoxical and phantasmagorical moments of the episodes, which cause shock and laughter, but everyone watches the show with interest and attentiveness in search of such moments.

Dmitry Karpachev himself promotes his own person and the show with his participation on the Internet. The TV presenter and psychologist runs an official website dedicated to issues of parenting, relationships and personal development. The site also contains the most bright quotes TV presenter, a biography of Dmitry Karpachev has been posted, and announcements for upcoming master classes and psychologist trainings are regularly updated.

Personal life

There is very little information about the TV presenter’s family. It is known that the personal life of Dmitry Karpachev, unlike the heroes of his television programs, turned out wonderfully. In his hometown, he met a girl whom he fell in love with. The TV presenter's wife Irina is somewhat younger than her husband. It is unknown who her profession is. Dmitry himself said in an interview that Ira is a yoga trainer.

In 2009, Dmitry and Irina moved to the capital of Ukraine. In the same year their wedding took place. At the very end of this happy year– in December – the couple had a son, Svyatogor. So far this only child Karpachev. About the second, as the TV presenter once let slip, they will think about it when their son grows up and becomes a more independent person.
