They go on dates together, communicate... According to the script, the man gradually weeds out the candidates he likes less.
The show became so popular that its analogues began to appear in other countries, including Ukraine (2011, STB channel) and Russia (2013, TNT channel). Today we will tell you a little about how the fate of the participants and winners of this project developed in different countries.
Over the 19 seasons of the program in the United States, the winners got married only once. This happened in 2014. Also, the engagement of the winners of the last season is scheduled for May this year, but whether the wedding will take place is still unknown...


It is also curious that the winner of the thirteenth season of the American “Bachelor”, Jason Mesnick, chose one girl, and ended up marrying the finalist he had previously rejected. Their wedding was shown on national television.


In March 2011, the first issue of the Ukrainian “Bachelor” was released. The eligible groom was Maxim Chmerkovsky, an American choreographer originally from Odessa. In the final, the guy chose between Yana Solomko, who was supported by most of the fans, and Alexandra Shulgina. The bachelor chose the latter...

Maxim and Sasha went to the USA, but broke up a month later. Chmerkovskiy is now married to Australian dancer Peta Murgatroyd. Shulgina works as a TV presenter and does not consider it necessary to once again boast about her personal life...

The second Ukrainian bachelor was Francis Alexander Matthew Romanov, one of the descendants of the Romanov dynasty. From the first issues it was clear that Francis was breathing unevenly towards Elena Ryasnova. This happened, but six months after the end of the show, the couple broke up. Francis is still looking for his love, and Elena married a Zaporozhye businessman.


Andrey Iskornev is a plastic surgeon, owner of several clinics and the third bachelor of the Ukrainian show. This was the most scandalous season. The winner was Anna Kozyr, who even forgave Iskornev for sex with another participant in the project, Yana Stanishevskaya.

But it didn’t end there... Intimate relationships had consequences. At the post-show they found out that Yana became pregnant and she and Iskornev were ready to leave the child, but suddenly the girl had a miscarriage. Yana could not stand it all and broke up with Andrey. Now she is engaged in music, she has a boyfriend - a guitarist.
Irina Skorikova, another participant in the project, supported Iskornev all this time as a friend, but as a result the relationship developed into a more romantic one. Although things didn’t work out here either, the couple couldn’t live one life in two cities, and they ended up scattering.

The fourth Ukrainian bachelor, Konstantin Yevtushenko, is the owner of an investment group. In the final, he chose Anya Selyukova, but soon after the end of the project he left the country. The man’s strange behavior became clear later when he married Olympic champion Natalya Dobrynskaya.


Selyukova was not left alone either. A girl is preparing for a wedding with professional poker player Evgeny Kachalov.


Football player Sergei Melnik became the fifth Ukrainian bachelor. It seemed that his relationship with the winner of the show, Marina Kishchuk, would be strong and long-lasting. But it didn’t work out here either, at least in December last year the girl announced that she and Sergei were no longer a couple...
