The future singer was born on March 3, 1982 in the capital of humor, the hero city of Odessa. Her mother Irina Leonidovna was a dressmaker, her father Yuri Evgenievich was a computer specialist. When the girl was 10 years old, her parents divorced. Over time, my mother remarried, and Aida had a younger sister, Alexandra.

The sisters have always been very close. The eldest took care of the baby and protected her from yard hooligans. One day, a pugnacious boy tried to set his dog on her, and Aida broke his nose, although she dislocated her finger. At school she studied karate, so she could, if necessary, stand up for herself and stand up for her sister.

During her school years, she sang in the choir with pleasure, but she studied at music school for only six months, later honestly admitting that she was lazy to practice solfeggio. But she enthusiastically participated in music competitions and festivals, earning many diplomas and awards.

In order to master the skill of a tailor at a professional level, after the ninth grade she entered a sewing college. Although, after another victory in a vocal competition, she was invited to the conservatory even without the necessary musical education, but she refused, reasoning that her individuality would be destroyed there.

Personal life of Aida Nikolaychuk

The singer is married for the second time. She met her chosen one, the Belarusian drifter and stunt rider Nikita Podolsky, in Kyiv, at the Chaika stadium, thanks to their common passion for motorsports.

When we met, he called her voice “crystal,” which the girl remembered. They started dating and 2 years later, in October 2016, they got married. The singer is not embarrassed by the fact that her husband is 12 years younger than her; she considers him a real man, behind whom she feels like behind a stone wall.

The girl met her first husband, Pavel, in Nikolaev, during the “Tenth Quarter” tour. She saw him, handsome and impressive, from the stage among the audience and fell in love at first sight.

As it turned out, the young man was also a cutter and was also engaged in making cliches for jewelry. At first they met “in two cities,” then she moved to Nikolaev with him, got married and became a mother. When their son Maxim was one year old, the young family moved to Odessa. There the girl changed several jobs - she was a mobile phone salesman, a waitress, and a cashier operator. Soon their relationship with her husband began to crack, and they separated.

At The X Factor, Aida had a short affair with sound engineer Dmitry, which she prefers not to remember.

In November, Aida’s concert took place at the Caribbean Club in Kiev, where the singer’s many-loved hits were performed, including “We are under the same sky”, “Go”, “On your planet”, and also the premiere of a musical work by Ruslan Kvinta and singer Lama “Ti” took place. “My life.” The girl said that she hoped to win the right to represent her native country at Eurovision 2017, but, alas, she did not succeed.

7 years ago Ukrainian singer Aida Nikolaychuk performed on the X Factor program. The girl performed “Lullaby” by Polina Gagarina, but picky judges considered her voice to be a soundtrack. Aida agreed to sing a cappella, and only then did the jury believe her.

The performer gained popularity after winning the third season of The X Factor. Immediately after her triumph, she signed a contract with a famous record company, and now has two studio albums to her credit.

Aida wanted to represent her native country on the Eurovision 2016 stage, but this time the judges promised the girl victory at the beauty contest, and gave their preference to another singer.

The attractiveness of Aida is beyond doubt even among the most biased connoisseurs. The girl often sang on stage in the image of Marilyn Monroe, and in 2016 her beauty was appreciated by a 22-year-old rider from Belarus Nikita Podolsky, offering his hand and heart.

The lovers did not have a magnificent wedding due to lack of time. Aida was preparing for a solo concert in Kyiv, so there was simply no free time. The couple limited themselves to only a wedding photo shoot. “There were no restaurants, no yachts, no hot air balloons. Only love", - shared the singer.

Recently, Aida Nikolaychuk surprised fans by singing a Japanese song in the popular Mozart karaoke. It is worth noting that Aida sang perfectly in Japanese without an accent or mistakes, and her performance was evaluated by a computer program.

The Japanese liked Aida’s performance so much that they offered her to work together on a Japanese album, but the girl refused, because she was already working on creating an album of English-language songs.

Just look how happy the residents of the Land of the Rising Sun were when they heard a foreigner sing in their native language. And although we don’t understand what Aida is singing about, the performance itself evokes only positive emotions!

But no one could have thought that the girl would be able to find success. At first, Aida was a cashier in a clothing store, where she worked until her participation in The X Factor. She was helped by her love of singing from childhood and by her faithful friends, who appreciated her mini-performances every time.

Sometimes there are cases when previously bright stars fade over time.

TV viewers fell in love with the brave participant of the vocal show, who, in response to the accusation of using a soundtrack, did not lose her head and sang a cappella, that is, without accompaniment. She sang so well that in the blink of an eye, the indignation of the jury stars gave way to delight, because the singer’s live voice sounded as if it had already undergone professional studio processing... Now Aida is going through a period of great hopes: her dream has finally come true - the singer has moved to Kyiv , does only what she loves - music, has already recorded her first album and was among the “Discovery of the Year” nominees for the Yuna Award. As for her personal life, the girl claims that she now has the only man - her 11-year-old son Maxim, although she adds that her heart is occupied.

- Aida, even Wikipedia chose to modestly conceal your real name...

(Laughs) Because this is my real name, inherited from my grandmother, her name was also Aida. My parents wanted to name me Kristina or Oksana, and it’s good that my grandmother was persistent. At school I had to cry in literature classes when we were studying the legends of Ancient Greece, the boys did not skimp on offensive nicknames, I was angry at my own name, but now I value it as a family heirloom.

- The name was inherited from your grandmother, but what about your voice?

Included. (Smiles) My grandfather said that in childhood, even in appearance, I was very similar to my grandmother, and then I stretched out and lost weight. But, unfortunately, my grandmother’s youth was during the war; she was unable to realize her talent or receive a good musical education.

- But your first education is also far from creativity - are you a cutter?

I would ask! Firstly, by profession I am not a cutter, but a tailor, and these are two big differences, as they say in Odessa! (Laughs) Secondly, I categorically disagree that the work of a tailor is not creative. In fact, this is the same designer. Since childhood, I have covered albums, the backs of notebooks, and sometimes textbooks with sketches of crazy outfits. In addition, my mother is a dressmaker, I watched her spend her days drawing, cutting, cutting, and sewing. So I followed in her footsteps to study a profession for which I had a talent (as it seemed to me at school). There was a conversation with my parents that the skill of a tailor will always feed me. I have never faced a dilemma: music or sewing. And then, you know how it happens: graduation is just around the corner, tomorrow they will hand over the certificate, and you urgently need to place him in at least some educational institution.

- Where is the place of music in your history?

Music always had a place - I sang at home while cleaning and cooking. I sang with pleasure the songs of Andrei Gubin, La Bouche. Mom made a remark: “Stop bawling!” In addition, at school I sang in the choir and studied at a music school for six months.

- Why only six months?

Mom was tired of forcing me to practice solfeggio. I was a capable student, I knew how to pick out melodies by ear, the teachers praised me, but I was lazy to study. Later there were numerous competitions and festivals, I have a collection of diplomas and awards at home. After another victory, they called my mother, persuaded me to send me to the conservatory, promised to help, but I refused. And I don’t regret it: they say that at the conservatory they cut everyone into the same mold and kill the personality of the vocalist, but why?

- Did your ability to sew or sing bring you your first money?

Ability to deftly maneuver between tables with a tray of glasses. (Smiles) I worked as a waitress when I was still in school. But music never brought in much money. While still at school, I was auditioned for the local hip-hop team “Tenth Quarter” as a backing vocalist. They gave me the text and I sang it. They took me right away because, according to the boy musicians, unlike the other girls, I didn’t sing “like a pioneer.” We performed with the group in nightclubs in Odessa and toured other cities. We were paid fees, but they were just pennies, which was enough to go the 7th kilometer to buy clothes - new, fashionable, beautiful, and buy a new hip-hop cassette. I loved hip-hop!

- Is it from that rebellious time that the scandalous photos from the Internet, where you are with Rasta pigtails and topless, belong?

No, these photographs were taken much later; at one time I was literally hounded by them. Although personally, I don’t see anything shameful or vulgar here. But when I was into hip-hop, I didn’t look like the old “girly girl” - I wore wide pants and stretched T-shirts three sizes too big, I had wild chemistry. By the way, this is where the rebellion ended. There are also a couple of holes in my ear, now I sometimes think about getting a tattoo because it’s beautiful. And if my son, when he grows up, wants a tattoo, I won’t object, I’ll take him to the artist myself. I won’t scold you for having an earring in your ear, but I’ll try to dissuade you from having “tunnels”: it’s not for nothing that earlobe correction is the most popular cosmetic procedure, which means there’s something to regret. So it’s better to dissuade him at the start.

- What happened in the interval between hip-hop and participation in the “X Factor”?

I got married, became a mother, got divorced. We met Pasha, my ex-husband, on tour in Nikolaev, what he did at the concert is still a mystery to me. He was not from this crowd at all, he didn’t listen to hip-hop, but from the stage I immediately singled out my “prince” from the crowd. In the group I was surrounded by boys all the time, and this guy, a real handsome guy, dressed differently, spoke differently, had different values and views on life, in general - from another planet. It turned out that he was also studying to become a cutter, and also made cliches for jewelry. I fell in love with him at first sight. We met for a very short time in two cities - it was unprofitable. I moved to Nikolaev with him, got married six months later, and six months later became a mother. A year later we moved to Odessa. Music completely disappeared from my life - I worked as a cashier operator, a waitress, a mobile phone salesman, I took on any job that brought money to the family, because I had to eat something.

- Why were you concerned about this, and not your husband?

He also took care of the family, but I quickly found a job and quickly changed it to a more profitable one. Pasha, like many men, was not easy to rise to.

- Did Pasha support your decision to take part in the talent show?

He didn't know about it. A friend hinted that it would be nice to take part in the show, but I immediately dismissed it. Firstly, where to participate? I'm thirty! Secondly, I was sure that everything on the project was paid for and even at the start it was clear who would win. But my friend didn’t give up, and I still came to the casting and waited a long time for an answer. They called me back when I had lost my last hope. There was a long struggle, on-line voting, I left my job because it was impossible to combine my schedule with trips to Kyiv.

-Who have been your friends all this time?

Mom, girlfriend, son, my husband and I separated.

- He couldn’t stand your endless trips and rehearsals?

No, our divorce is not related to my participation in the show; the relationship has long since cracked.

-Who is the main man in your life now?

My son Maxim.

- What about Dmitry, the X-Factor sound engineer?

This was a long time ago and is no longer true. Our relationship with Dima did not last long, and I want to forget about it as soon as possible.

- I don’t believe that your heart is empty.

There is no man next to me now, but my heart is not free. True, the object of my feelings has no idea about anything yet, because first I must be 100 percent sure of this person.

-Are you worried about not being married?

Sometimes I feel very sad that I am alone, and sometimes I sigh with relief: “It’s so good that I’m alone, that I’m free and don’t owe anything to anyone, I don’t have to report to anyone - where am I going, why am I going?” The only man to whom I answer today is my son.

Perhaps, but a bad experience is the best experience. Now I know clearly that I want to be with a man, next to whom I will feel like behind a stone wall, and I will not have to decide anything for him.

- Did you have to?

Of course, we had to hammer in nails and reinstall the taps.

- Who is hammering nails in your house today?

I’m doing this on my own, I really hope it’s temporary.

What are you doing to ensure that Maxim becomes a real man for someone, capable of taking responsibility?

Maxim is my first child, I don’t know if I’m raising him correctly, if I’m doing everything so that he grows up to be a decent person, a reliable man. I cannot stand cowardice and weakness in people, I try to eradicate them in my son. Recently we went on a slide, he did not dare to ride, standing on his feet, he slid down on his butt. For about 20 minutes I tried to persuade him to overcome his fear, because in fact, what terrible thing could happen to him - he would flop into the snow. He cried, but in the end he gave in to my admonitions and decided to move out on his feet. I saw that he himself was proud that he had overcome his weakness.

- What fears of your own are you struggling with now?

I'm afraid to look ridiculous on stage, to overdo it with emotions, so that my performance doesn't turn into a clownery. Another phobia of mine is heels; I wear them on stage and practically never wear them in everyday life.

- Seriously? But you are as tall as Thumbelina, who flatters all men.

It's true: men love fragile and petite people. I'm not only not ashamed of my height, I'm proud of it!

You are afraid to overdo it with emotions on stage, but you know that you have been secretly labeled as the “Snow Queen” - unemotional, cold. Do you agree with this?

What are you doing! On the contrary, I am a very sociable person, I am from Odessa. (Smiles) I just don’t let everyone into my circle.

- But still you give vent to your emotions?

Otherwise! I have two broken phones on my account. In fact, I’m crazy, I can hit you - you don’t need to ask for long. Although I really fought a long time ago, when I was 12 years old. At school I studied karate, and one day my martial arts skills came in handy: I had to protect my little sister from a street bully. He tried to hurt me, but he constantly picked on my sister, the last straw was that he set a dog on the little one. My patience ran out, I broke his nose, and he dislocated my finger. Now I have become calmer, but sometimes I swear loudly, I can even use obscene language - you can’t erase words from a song.

- Wow! That is, you don’t have to ask Maxim later: “Where did you hear that word?!”

(Laughs) I resort to strong words as a last resort. But I have never heard them from Maxim; he is the one who reprimands my mother if he hears a “bad” word from her.

Your son managed to make his debut in your video. Whose idea was this? she said that her eldest daughter also asked to be in the video for a very long time, and when it came to the set, she flatly refused.

This was an idea we shared with Maxim. We needed a boy for the shooting, and who better to play a son if not his own son?

- Do you sing to him? How about him?

I sang lullabies as a child. Maxim to me... He has good hearing and a sense of rhythm, but he has not yet pleased me with his singing.

- What do you like to do most when you're alone?

Like many modern children, my son’s favorite toy is a computer. Although he has a lot of hobbies. He loves cars and everything connected with them, he loves to invent, design, for example, develop some kind of flying machine... He also loves to read and draw. Maxim sees himself as an inventor. It doesn’t matter where he will study, the main thing is that he likes it. I definitely won’t make a decision for him.

- If music became your main occupation, did sewing become a hobby?

No, but I draw sketches. There are ideas that are on the way to implementation. From the category of fantasies - creating an author's clothing collection.

- Does creativity feed you?

I signed a contract with Sony Music, the company sponsored my first album, helped film two videos, I give concerts - for now I have enough to live on. By the way, I have my own story about “money for living”. Even before the X Factor and castings, at a New Year’s corporate party in the store where I worked as a cashier, I sang Polina Gagarina’s composition “Lullaby,” my favorite. I trained on employees, and one of them filmed me. I sang, forgot, and suddenly after some time the video surfaced on YouTube, and then went viral on the Internet with the remark “no sooner had I made my debut at the competition, I began to earn a living at weddings and corporate events.” (Laughs)

- What do you still lack money for today?

For a lot. While participating in the show, I lived between Kiev and Odessa, later I moved, today I have already changed two apartments, I was tired of moving, I promised myself that the next apartment I would move to would be my own. I also really want to travel.

- Do you refuse to travel due to lack of finances or time?

For both reasons.

- Where will you go first when the stars align?

To Thailand, it's warm there. I love to feel the rays of the sun and listen to the sound of water, they give me a feeling of happiness.

After the vocalist from Kyiv won the “X-Factor” competition, an analogue of the Russian “Voice”, her personal life became the object of increased attention - numerous fans of the beauty with an opera name began to wonder who Aida Nikolaychuk’s husband was. It is known that she was once married, but later separated. Now Aida maintains a relationship with her ex-husband, and the reason for this is their common son Maxim. She met her ex-husband Pavel during a tour in Nikolaev.

Then Nikolaychuk was a backing vocalist in the Odessa hip-hop team “Tenth Quarter,” which performed in nightclubs and toured other cities. Aida immediately drew attention to a handsome, tastefully dressed guy who was different from the guys who surrounded her. After they met and began to communicate, the girl was captivated by the manner of communication and views on the life of her new acquaintance. As it turned out, Pavel, that’s the name of her ex-husband, also studied to be a cutter, just like Aida herself once did. Since she lived in Odessa at that time, and he lived in Nikolaev, for some time they had to live in two cities, but they quickly got tired of these dates, and Aida Nikolaychuk moved to her beloved in Nikolaev.

There she got married and soon became a mother. A year later, the young family moved to Aida’s homeland, but family life did not work out, and the couple broke up. At first she really liked the newfound freedom - she didn’t have to answer to anyone, but then she got tired of this freedom. Aida missed a strong man's shoulder to lean on. And this moment has come - the singer finally met a man worthy of becoming Aida Nikolaychuk’s husband. It turned out to be Nikita Podolsky. The guy is twelve years younger than his chosen one - she is 34, he is 22, is involved in motorsports, and their feelings are time-tested - they have been together for two and a half years and are already preparing for the wedding.

They met at the stadium, where Aida came to watch motorcycle racing. When they were introduced, Nikita immediately said that he really liked her voice - then she was already known for her participation in the X Factor. After they met, they broke up, and only six months later Nikita found a girl through the VKontakte group, wrote that he really liked the song performed by her, and suggested meeting, and so their romance began. Despite the fact that Aida’s chosen one is still very young, she considers him a strong and courageous man who knows how to be gentle and affectionate, and at the right moments, quite daring. Nikolaychuk speaks about Nikita with great love - she sees in him a strong, caring, intelligent and reliable man who she can rely on - in general, the one she always dreamed of. Love inspires her to create and makes her happy.

Aida Nikolaychuk's future husband proposed marriage in a solemn atmosphere, in the presence of their mothers, and it was a real surprise for her - although she expected that it would happen someday, she did not think that it would be at that moment. Nikita got down on his knee, confessed his love to Aida and put a ring on his finger, which moved the bride to tears. For Aida, it was very important how her son would react to her choice - fortunately, Nikita quickly found a common language with Maxim, and although anything can happen between them, Aida tries to act as an arbitrator, explaining to each of her men who is in this situation is sometimes wrong. But, in general, the son fully approved of his mother’s choice, and this is extremely important for her.
